We Ride Skate Shop Story

In 2024 We Ride Skate Shop purchased the inventory from the estate of Chuck Dunn. Chuck had been involved in skateboarding since the 1960's, owning shops all over Central and Southern California. From Venice Beach to San Diego, Apple Valley to Lake Isabella, Chuck had ingrained himself in the skateboarding industry as well as culture. After Chuck's passing, Scott Ferris purchased and consolidated the inventory that had been stored from Chuck's shops and brought it all under one roof in Lake Isabella, CA. With skateboards, shoes, and clothing dating back as far as the early 2000's, combined with new inventory from modern vendors, We Ride Skate Shop was born. With a love for Golden Era skateboarding and a throwback style, customers often say "it feels like 2010 in here." We take that as a compliment.

As the name implies, We Ride Skate Shop is skater owned and rider focused. We are constantly working with our local skate park and within our local community to benefit the skateboarding community. With over 20 skateboards donated in the last year and plans for a local DIY park build, we don't only ride skateboards, but give back on them as well.
